Administrators Award

Deadline: July 20

Administrators are the instructional leader for the school campus; therefore, the Oklahoma Literacy Association seeks to recognize administrators who:
*     Promote engagement with and a love for reading and writing,
*       Promote skilled reading and writing at all levels and in all disciplines, 
*       Support and encourage students and teachers in their literacy efforts , 

*       Engage in literacy advocacy and work alongside teachers, 
*       Seek continuous improvement with sustained, long-term efforts,
*       Display positive attitude, 
*       Serve as role models in professionalism and ethical decision making, 
*       Are good stewards of school resources and facilities, 
*       Demonstrate honesty, dedication, and flexibility, 
*       Engage actively in the community,  
*       Encourage OKLA membership and attendance at annual conferences.

This is an opportunity for councils to recognize one of their district’s outstanding administrators in literacy education.

Send your 500-1000 word nomination letter to the OKLA award coordinator listed on the award landing page.
