The Oklahoma Higher Education Reading Council (OHERC) is a council of the Oklahoma literacy association for those invested in literacy education and teacher preparation across the state of Oklahoma. The OHERC Council would like to encourage you to find and follow us on Facebook to learn more about our group and to get notifications about upcoming events that we may have planned.
We meet in person each fall directly after the Oklahoma State Regents of Higher Education Oklahoma's reading conference. We also meet in the spring semester for service learning engagement, professional learning, collaboration, and celebrations of teacher education and literacy efforts in our state.
